india retreat 2026

A community adventure to the home of yoga

Yoga Kula are going to Rishikesh!

From 14–21 November 2026, we invite you to join us in Rishikesh, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas and held by the sacred Ganges. A place where yoga is not just practiced, but lived - deeply woven into the rhythm of daily life, ritual and devotion.

We will be staying in Tapovan, a peaceful yet vibrant area close to the river and the heart of Rishikesh. Surrounded by temples, nature and the energy of this sacred land, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to step out of everyday life and into something slower, deeper and more intentional.

Angela and Amanda will be guiding this retreat together. Angela lived in India for 18 months before Yoga Kula and has returned to the Himalayas several times with the Kula community. Amanda has spent extended time studying in the Himalayas and brings a depth of knowledge and experience that invites students deeper into their practice.

Our days will be shaped by yoga, ritual, connection and exploration, alongside space to rest, reflect and simply be.

There is something about this place that calls people in a very quiet but certain way. Our Himalayan retreats tend to come together beautifully… the right group, at the right time and spaces are limited.

If this is something you’ve been waiting for, we would love for you to be part of it.

This retreat is an invitation to reconnect - to your practice, to yourself, and to the source energy that flows through it all.

“The Himalayas are the abode of light, of peace, of silence. They are the home of the sages.”
